Sati Pasala or How to Practice Mindfulness

Sati Pasala Programme at Galenbindunuwewa Sri Bodhimaluwa Viharaya – 25th March 2019

New Hopewell & Wikiliya Team has organized a Sati Pasala programme at Sri Bodhimaluwa Viharaya, Galenbindunuwewa – Anuradhapura on 25th March 2019 for Dhamma School teachers, students and villages. There are more than 250 Dhamma school teachers, students and villages participated in this programme.
Ven. Kurunegala Sobhitha Thero conducted the programme. Being in the present moment was introduced through the Mindful Sitting, Mindful Walking, Mindful Games and Mindful Eating. Now these students and villages are practicing Sathiya with the experiences of previous Sati Pasala sessions. A mindful person can win all the obstacles. According to the comments of them they needed to further improve their Sathiya as they identify the thousands of benefits of mindfulness. Mindfulness training for these students and villages is very productive as it is helping them to stay calm, focused and better manage the pressures of their life. Some of them shared their wonderful experiences regarding “Sathiya” with others.
