Sati Pasala program was conducted by Ven. Rajasinghegama Thilakadhamma Thero at the Provincial ICT Education Center in Gurudeniya for central province Buddhist teachers on 19th of September 2019.
The program was organized by the Department of Religious and Value Education at the Ministry of Education and Sati Pasala facilitators were invited to conduct a session at the three-day program by the Director of the Department Mr. Nimal Dharmasiri.

Sati Pasala Foundation commenced island-wide teacher training programs under the directives of Ministry of Education. For the first phase of the project 120 schools have been selected by the Ministry of Education covering the whole nine provinces of the country.
In the past Pirivena was a self-managed institution, but since about 60 years it became part of the government education system. Today Pirivena Education comes directly under the purview of the Ministry of Education in Sri Lanka.
