Sati Pasala program was conducted at the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Headquarters Camp in Salawa on the 21st of September under the guidance of Major General D G S Senarath Yapa RWP RSP ndu, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.
About 200 members of the headquarters took part in the program that was conducted by Ven. Loluwagoda Dhammasagara thero. A brief introduction to mindfulness was done by Ven. Dhammasagara Thero along with Mindful Sitting, Mindful Walking, Mindful Eating, and several Mindful games. A positive response was received from the participants and also a request was made to do a lengthy program preferably at Nissaran Vanaya to explore Mindfulness further under the guidance of Most. A day mindfulness program was conducted at the Kadugannawa International Meditation Center on the 21st of August 2022. More than 150 students of Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy (SIBA) took part in the program and they all engaged in Mindful activities.
