On the 8th November at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo, Sati Pasala was introduced to HE the President Maithripala Sirisena. The President endorsed the program positively and encouraged that mindfulness be shared with school children, parents and teachers island wide. A Sati Pasala special program was conducted at the Gampaha Thakshila Vidyalaya on November 8th. Of special interest were the pictorial and poetic feedback recorded from the students. The image of a confused and tangled mind, drawn as multiple squiggles in convoluted circles was striking in contrast to the sketch of a blooming flower – depicting the mind of the same artist student at the end of the Sati Pasala program.Read More
