Sati Pasala Program at the Drug Addicts Rehabilitation Unit, Mampitiya
Sati Pasala program was conducted at the Drug Addicts Rehabilitation Unit at the Divisional Hospital in Mampitiya, Daulagala on the 25th of March 2022. The program was conducted for 10 patients who are taking in-house treatments for alcohol addiction. The staff of the unit also attended the program along with the family members of the patients. Ven. Loluwagoda Dhammasagara thero conducted the program. Mindful Walking, Mindful Sitting, Mindful Listening, Mindful Eating, Magic Jar, and several Mindful Games were conducted to give the message of Mindfulness to participants.

Two Sati Pasala programs were conducted on 21st and 22nd of March 2022 at Special Education Resource Center in Ampitiya for the Special Education Teachers in the Kandy Zone. About 60 Teachers who are in the Special Education Sector took part in the programs conducted by the Kandy team. Participants were given a basic knowledge on Mindfulness and given the chance to practice several mindful activities such as Mindful Walking, Mindful Sitting, Mindful Listening, Mindful Eating and several other Mindful games and activities.

Two-day Sati Pasala Training Program at Wariyapola Education Development Center
A Two-day Satipasala training program was conducted at Wariyapola Education Development Center, Wariyapola for the teachers representing Wariyapola Education Zone. The program was organized by the Deputy Director Nilantha Gunasekara of the School Health Unit, Ministry of Education. Day one of the program was conducted by Ven. Matara Wimalabuddhi thero and participants were given the basic knowledge on Mindfulness. Ven. Thero taught and guided the participants to practice Mindful Walking and Sitting.

Sati Pasala Program at Delta Gemunupura College, Pussellawa
Satipasala program was conducted at the Delta Gemunupura College in Pussellawa on 16th of March 2022. Three separate programs were conducted by Ven. Matara Wimalabuddhi Thero for students from grade 6 – 9 and the staff. Mindful facilitators conducted Mindful Listening, Mindful Walking, Mindful Sitting, Mindful Eating and several Mindful Games to give the message of Mindfulness to the participants. A small session was also conducted where the staff members were given the chance to come up with their own ideas on how to implement Mindfulness throughout the school.
