Sati Pasala introduction program was conducted at the Sri Dheerananda National College in Pilimathalawa on the 28th of July 2022. A brief introduction program was conducted for about 150 staff members.The principal of the Sri Dheerananda National College planned to implement Sati Pasala program in the entire school. Ven. Two Sati Pasala programs were conducted on 21st and 22nd of March 2022 at Special Education Resource Center in Ampitiya for the Special Education Teachers in the Kandy Zone. About 60 Teachers who are in the Special Education Sector took part in the programs conducted by the Kandy team. Participants were given a basic knowledge on Mindfulness and given the chance to practice several mindful activities such as Mindful Walking, Mindful Sitting, Mindful Listening, Mindful Eating and several other Mindful games and activities.

A Two-day Satipasala training program was conducted at Wariyapola Education Development Center, Wariyapola for the teachers representing Wariyapola Education Zone. The program was organized by the Deputy Director Nilantha Gunasekara of the School Health Unit, Ministry of Education. Day one of the program was conducted by Ven. Satipasala program was conducted at the Delta Gemunupura College in Pussellawa on 16th of March 2022. Three separate programs were conducted by Ven. Matara Wimalabuddhi Thero for students from grade 6 – 9 and the staff. Mindful facilitators conducted Mindful Listening, Mindful Walking, Mindful Sitting, Mindful Eating and several Mindful Games to give the message of Mindfulness to the participants. A small session was also conducted where the staff members were given the chance to come up with their own ideas on how to implement Mindfulness throughout the school.

The first Teacher Training program at Sri Kalyani Sevana Sati Pasala Center in Boyagama, Kandy was conducted on 3rd of March 2022. About 30 teachers from Muruthalawa Junior School attended the program. The Kandy Mindful Facilitators conducted Mindful Listening, Mindful Walking, Mindful Sitting, Mindful Eating and several Mindful Games to give the message of Mindfulness to the participants. Participants were also guided to make their own Magic Jars and discussed how mindfulness can be implemented at school level. The Principal of the Muruthalawa Junior School promised to implement the Sati Pasala program at school level.
