Monthly Sati Pasala for Venerable Members of the Clergy -12th March 2019

New Hopewell & Wikiliya team organized another Sati Pasala programme at Pelmadulla Sri Sambuddhathwa Jayanthi Piriwena on 12th March 2019. About 65 venerable members of the clergy participated and the session ran from 8.30am to 10.30 am.
The programme was conducted by Ven. Kurunegala Sobhitha Thero as per the special request made by the incumbent priest and the principle thero of the piriwena. March month Sati Pasala programme was held at the piriwena for the benefits of the venerable members of the clergy. Already five sessions for venerable members of the clergy have done and in this programme, it talked about the issues uncounted when the bhikkus are following sathiya. After that one by one have discussed and gave solutions for them as a support to continue sathiya. Little venerable members of the clergy were enthusiastically involved in the programme and Sathiya.

Sati Pasala Programme at Gymnasium, Balangoda – 11th March 2019

Sati Pasala programme was held at Gymnasium at Balangoda on 11th March 2019 for 45 members of the Gymnasium from 9.00am to 11.00am. They enthusiastically participated in the programme. The purpose of the people who come to the gymnasium as their life habit, to relax their minds and to maintain their healthy life. Therefore, Sati Pasala mindfulness programme is very helpful for them to reach their purpose.

Ven. Kurunegala Sobhitha Thero conducted the programme in a very productive manner. Being in the present moment was introduced through mindful sitting, mindful walking and mindful eating. They shared their experiences with others at the end of the programme. According to their experiences, they said that their minds got relaxed. As this is a different target group the message about mindfulness can be passed to their families very effectively.

Sati Pasala introduction programme was organized at Poojagoda Village in Lankathilake on 26th of February 2019. The programme was conducted by most Ven. Sati Pasala Programme at Massenna Sri Dewagiri Temple – 10th March 2019

Sati Pasala mindfulness programme was organized by New Hopewell & Wikiliya Tea factories at Massenna Sri Dewagiri Temple on 10th March 2019 from 8.00 am to 11.30 am for Dhamma school students and teachers.

Key mindful activities including Mindful Walking, Mindful Listening, Mindful Sitting and Mindful Eating was conducted along with several mindful games to introduce mindfulness to students. The programme is conducted in a very productive and efficient way by Ven. Kurunegala Sobitha Thero.

The students share their experiences with others at the end of the programme. According to the comments of them, they need to improve their Sathiya as they have identified the thousands of benefits of mindfulness. When they are always engaging with a competitive education system, mindfulness is very important for a successful education.

Sati Pasala programme was held at Nalandawa Tuition centre on 24th February 2019 for students. The programme ran from 8.00 am to 11.30 am. Whether Nalandawa is a private education centre, the owner of the centre Mr. Naleen Gonakumbura and the Science teacher, Mr. Nalaka S.
