Sati Pasala program was conducted at Sir Dalada Pirivena, Station Road Katugastota on the 11th of December 2019 the Unduvap Full Moon Poya Day. About 30 attended the program which was conducted by Ven. Rajasinghegama Thilakadhamma thero. Mindful facilitators conducted key mindful activities such as mindful listening, mindful sitting, mindful walking and mindful eating exercises along with several mindful games to give the message of mindfulness to the participants.

Sati Pasala program was conducted at the Regional Children’s Council of the Children’s Clubs in the Pathahewaheta Divisional Secretariat on the 9th of December 2019. The program was organized by the Pathahewaheta Divisional Secretariat office and was attended by about 30 – 35 children from grade 8 and above.
Mindful Facilitators conducted mindful sitting, mindful listening, mindful walking, and mindful eating along with several mindful games to give the message of mindfulness to the participants.

The monthly Sati Pasala program at the Dhamma Sarana Vihara (Melbourne, Australia) was held on 21 December 2019, with the participation of about thirty-three children. Following the preliminary instructions, the session started with the first segment on ‘Understanding mindfulness’. A short video clip reminded how busy we are in our daily life and highlighted the importance of cultivating calmness in mind enabling beautiful qualities to arise. How to facilitate the development of calmness in mind was discussed emphasizing the importance of practising mindful walking, sitting, and doing other daily activities mindfully.

A day camp was held at the Thames Buddhist Vihara, United Kingdom on the 24th November 2019 under the patronage and the blessings of Venerables Siridhamma Thero, Dhammapala Thero (Head of TBV) and Narada Thero. Nearly 68 children attended the event which lasted from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some parents participated as active helpers and others as observers.
