Sati Pasala Programme at Shri Gangaramaya Wiharaya, Madabedda – 20th January 2019

New Hopewell and Wikiliya Tea Factory organized a Sati Pasala programme at Shri Gangaramaya Wiharaya on 20th January 2019 of Poya day from 9.30am – 11.30 am. More than 350 Sill preceptors participated in this programme.

The programme was conducted by Ven. Kurunegala Sobhitha Thero under the direct guidance of the Managing Director- Mr. Ranjana Gamini Walpola. All the participants are eagerly and enthusiastically participated in this programme. “Sathiya” was introduced through Mindful sitting and Mindful walking. There are small children who have done those activities very well.

Sati Pasala Programme at Kothmale Zonal Education Office – 18th January 2019

Senhora Synergies Tea Company has organized another Sati Pasala programme at Kothmale Zonal Education Office on 18th January 2019, from 9.30am to 11.30am. More than 126 teachers and principals participated in the programme. This program was one of the most successful Sati Pasala Programme. The participants were very enthusiastic to learn “Sathiya” as well as all the activities were done by them in an active manner. As the participant comments, they need to introduce this program at their schools. Because most of the students need Sathiya for their lives in this competitive education system. Other vice, the children become like machines.

Sati Pasala Programme at Musaeus College, Colombo 7 – 17th January 2019

The grade 5 children of Musaeus College, Colombo 7 participated in the Sati Pasala mindfulness programme at the beginning of their school term. Mindfulness was introduced with key activities – Mindful Sitting, Mindful Walking, Mindful Eating, Mindful Listening, Mindfulness in Day to Day work and Mindful Games. The children engaged in all the activities with much enthusiasm. The teachers of the grade 5 classes also participated and showed interest in continuing the practice mindfulness with the students.

Senhora Synergies Tea Company was organized another Sati Pasala programme at Wikramabhahu Madya Maha Vidyalaya on 11th January 2019. The programme is run from 9.30am to 11.30am. More than 950 students from 80 schools, 4 monks, 175 teachers, 30 principles and 255 prefects in each school participated in the programme. Even, there was a huge crowd in the programme, it was one of the most successful Sati Pasala Programme.

Sati Pasala Programme at Homagama Base Hospital – 4th January 2019

Senhora Synergies Tea Company has organized another Sati Pasala programme at Homagama Base Hospital on 4th January 2019 for pregnant mothers. The programme is run from 9.30am to 11.30am. Pregnant mothers are a special group of people who especially need mindfulness for both mother and baby health.
The program was conducted by Ven. Kurunegala Sobhitha Thero under the direct guidance of the Managing Director- Mr. Ranjana Gamini Walpola.
Being in the present moment was introduced through Mindful sitting, Mindful walking and Mindful eating. The mothers were very enthusiastic to learn Sathiya as well as all the activities were done by them in an active manner. Because mindfulness is vital for their mind relaxation and health of both mother and the baby.
This experience surely helps them to motivate to continue Sathiya for their lives. Director Heath of Homagama Hospital requested to continue this programme in the hospital for all the patients. Because mindfulness is one of the most important key area to maintain good health.
